Air raid shelter!

I remember walking along diglis Road as a child and being fascinated, but being too scared to actually go into it! What happened to it? I know diglis has really changed with the hosing developments. It was by the new car park.

I used to hate walking past that old air raid shelter too;it was always spooky looking and then overgrown with brambles,and it ponged.I reckon it's still there behind the remaining hoarding...probably got a preservation order on it
