I've just woken from a troubled sleep. I dreamt that I was sat at our dining room table and on it was  a conveyor belt laden with blackberry pies and blackberry crumbles and in the kitchen I could here sounds of the current Mrs EW stuffing bags and bags of blackberries in the freezer.

Yes the blackberry season is upon us. Whilst I appreciate this free harvest (for family use only) there's only so much pies and crumbles a man can take. Are there any Heston Blumental wannabes out there who have got any really different ideas as to what to do with them. I'm thinking along the lines of "slow fried duck with a blackberry sauce" or even better " slow cooked blackberries with a duck sauce" (cheaper!).

In all seriousness any suggestions apart from the obvious welcomed.
Have a good day all.
EW
