Herons

Saw one heron on Saturday,flying north towards  Diglis basin.Today I spotted two flying in the same direction.Has anyone seen the heron resident in the basin recently?There might even be two there now.

Haven't seen herons yet but I did see an owl on Graham's roof a couple of months ago.  No idea what sort thought, it wasn't small and it wasn't a barn owl....

Love seeing the swallows about and hearing them in the evening.

Only Heron I've seen recently was over the maize field, just south of the footbridge on the Powick side of the river. Looked to me like it was coming from the Teme heading for the weir area.
