New Club at St Mark's

This is a new weekly club in St Mark's Church Hall - first meeting Friday 17 January at 2.30 until 4pm.  Come along and bring your friends to meet new people, have a cuppa and a chat and decide what YOU want to do each week.  For more information ring 01905 351392 or 358637

According to today's Journal I see there are two more events too.

Saturday January 25th, 7.30pm: Beetle drive, ?4 entry fee to include a fish and chip supper.

Saturday February 22nd, 7pm for 7.30pm: Quiz Night, ?3.50 per person.

Please take your own drinks to both events if desired.

Dear Christopher

Thanks for asking.  The Beetle Drive was poorly supported but nevertheless great fun - I hadn't realised that we had chosen Burns Night when the date was fixed way back in November.

The Chat & Cuppa Club has around 14 folk attending each week but none of those who asked me to start it up have attended which is strange.  We'll keep going probably until at least the summer to see if numbers improve and because some of those who do come live by themselves and enjoy meeting others.
