Hi Heather,

Will you be supplying the wet-suits and snorkels too?  ;)

Hi,

I will be there this time with my family. There are 4 of us 2 adults and 2 children (age 13 and 10). Due to a damaged arm I won't be able to do a lot personally, but the rest of us will!!!

I will also do the on line booking.

Look forward to seeing you there Annie_blue.I'll be there taking photos for the website.I'm no longer able to do much physically, but the Rangers are welcoming to all who turn up,and everyone is instructed on how to use tools etc.

Had a great scrub bash today.Fourteen people turned up.The weather stayed dry for us,and we ate baked spuds cooked in the bonfire.Dylan,Jemima and Gabriel (the younger contingency) had to be persuaded to stop, rest and have something to eat, such are their energy levels!
Rangers Trev and Heather made sure we knew how to handle the provided tools, and made hot drinks.

We had the help of Denzel the dog who watched over us beautifully, and Adams dog who amused us all by frantically digging a big hole.

Chris and Niki brought cakes, which was a real treat.

A good time was had by all;Oh yes, we also cleared a huge area of brambles which is what we were there for.Annie,Gail and Niki got very muddy digging out and putting a stone infill on the steps made at an event back in the summer,a good job done.

Thanks to everyone who turned up :)

What a great turn out, and it looks like you got loads done. Well done everyone, sorry I couldn't be there this time.

Looks like everyone was having fun and doing stirling work on the Cherry Orchard Nature Reserve. Digging out the steps looks very hard work and well done to you three hard working women who actually did the job.

It's good to see the younger folk getting stuck in also, so well done all. :)

Well done everyone!  It was a great way to keep out the cold on a Sunday morning.  Thanks to the rangers for their organisation and good humour, also the hot drinks.  I love the storyboard photos.

It's great how everyone gets stuck into these events and if I could I would do so also but at my age I'm lucky to get out in the garden! Today was one of those days that I did manage to get into the garden, didn't do much but the sunshine was super and tomorrow promises to be even better!
