It's the tenth anniversary of Cherry Orchard local nature reserve this year.It's also the year the reserve was awarded its status in perpetuity under the Queens Jubilee Fields award.
The Rangers will be creating a suitable small area near the entrance next to the miniature train field.This will have a plaque to commemorate the occasion.An oak tree grown from a royal acorn no less,will be planted there too,when its big enough to survive the great outdoors.
